Histoire de Pêche

Fishing stories at the Museum of Civilization in Quebec

As the Creative Director, Concept Artist, and Environment Designer for Quebec’s Musée de la Civilisation exhibition Fishing Stories, I had the pleasure of working on the virtual lake presented by Sépaq and Fondation de la Faune du Québec.

The installation features a spectacular display of a Quebec lake, evolving with the seasons. Visitors enter a semi-circular area where a dreamy landscape stretches out, blurring the room’s boundaries. Each season creates a distinct atmosphere with vibrant life and natural exploration. Motion sensors in the ceiling allow visitors to interact with the projection, creating waves and animating seasonal elements like fish under the ice in winter and floating leaves in fall. This interactive experience adds a magical and engaging dimension, especially enjoyed by families.
